Monk Fruit Extract Powder
Mogroside V is extracted from the fruit of siraitia grosvenorii, also known as monkfruit or luohan guo. Monk fruit extract is a natural sweetener, about 80-260 times sweeter than sucrose. Function

Monk fruit extract is easily soluble in water without any sediment.The extract contains 80% or greater mogroside. Mogroside is 300 times sweeter than cane sugar and is low in calories. It is a stable, non-fermentable additive ideal for diabetics.

Monk fruit extract contains high amounts of amino acids, fructose, vitamins and minerals. It is also used in traditional Chinese cooking for flavor and nutrition. It is a versatile natural sweetener that is ideally suited to replace artificial sweeteners such as aspartame.

Monk fruit extract works well in beverages, baked foods, nutritional foods, diet foods and any food product that requires either a low to no carbohydrate sweetener or low to no calories. Cooking or baking does not affect the flavor.

1. Add to coffee or tea. It has the effect of refreshing and relieving stress.
2. When added to traditional Chinese medicine, there is no peculiar smell or bitterness, and the sweetness characteristic curve almost overlaps with that of sucrose, which is unmatched by any other sweetener.

Monk fruit sweetener is made by crushing whole monk fruits and extracting their juice. Monk fruit gets its sweetness from a group of triterpene glycosides (sugar compounds) known as mogrosides. These are extracted from monk fruit juice and made into products like powdered and liquid sweeteners.
Mogroside V is the sweetest and most abundant mogroside in monk fruit and is the main mogroside used in sugar alternative products.
In addition to providing monk fruit's sweetness, mogrosides are responsible for its biological effects. Some research suggests that monk fruit may offer antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and anti-diabetic properties.
